We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner.
The short version. Our own code saves nothing on your device. Cloudflare, which hosts our website, may set a cookie that is strictly necessary for security. If we count visits, we do it without cookies, and you can block it in one step.
What our website saves on your device
Nothing that comes from our own code. We don't use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, tracking pixels or fingerprinting.
Cookies are small text files a website can save in your browser. The same law covers any way of saving or reading information on your device: the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) in the UK, and the ePrivacy rules in the EU.

Security cookies Cloudflare may set
Our website runs on Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and abusive bots. When its security checks need to, Cloudflare may set one of these cookies:
__cf_bmtells people apart from bots. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.cf_clearanceremembers that you passed a security check, so you aren't asked again. It lasts 30 minutes by default._cfuvidapplies fair limits when many people share one internet connection. It's deleted when you close your browser.
These cookies are strictly necessary to keep the site secure, so the law doesn't require your consent. Cloudflare uses them only for security, not for advertising. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, but you may then see extra security checks. Cloudflare explains them in its cookie documentation.
Visitor statistics, without cookies
To learn which pages are useful, we may switch on Cloudflare Web Analytics. When it's on, your browser loads a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com.
What it measures:
- the page you viewed and the website that sent you here
- your browser, operating system and type of device
- your country
- how quickly the page loaded and appeared, read from your browser's standard page-timing information
What it doesn't do: it sets no cookies and uses no localStorage. Cloudflare says it doesn't fingerprint visitors. We only see totals, such as "120 visits to the pricing page this week", never a profile of a person. Cloudflare explains how it works on its Web Analytics page.
UK law allows statistics like these without consent when they are used only to improve our own website, as long as we explain them clearly and give you an easy way to say no. The rules in EU countries are different, and they vary from country to country. So if we switch visitor statistics on, we only load them on our English pages, unless we've checked that the rules where our visitors are allow them without consent.
To opt out: block static.cloudflareinsights.com with a content blocker, or turn on your browser's strict tracking protection. The site works exactly the same without it.
How we handle language
You choose a language by the web address: English pages have no prefix, and the others start with /es/, /fr/ or /pt/. Switching language takes you to a different address. We don't save your choice.
If your browser is set to another language we offer, a small banner may suggest that version of the page. The check happens only in your browser, and nothing is saved. That's why the banner may appear again on a later visit.
Fonts, videos and maps
- Fonts are stored on our own server. Your browser never contacts Google Fonts.
- Videos are hosted by us and only load when you press play.
- Maps. We don't embed Google Maps. A link to Google Maps only opens Google's site if you tap it.
- Spam protection. Our forms use a hidden field to catch bots, not reCAPTCHA.
- No social media widgets and no advertising pixels.
Other websites and payments
When you follow a link to another website, that website's own cookie rules apply. For example, if you pay an invoice on a payment page hosted by Stripe, Stripe may set cookies for security and fraud prevention. Stripe explains these in its cookie policy.
If this changes
If we ever add marketing tools, we'll ask for consent first. We'll also update this notice and change the date at the top of this page.
