Websites for roofers & roofing contractors

Websites for roofers that get calls

A leak after a storm, or a whole new roof. People find you on Google Maps and tap “Website”. We build the page that makes them call you.

  • From £590 to build + £39/month care (3-month minimum). No VAT added.
  • We reply within 1 working day, usually the same day.

Where people give up

Why roofing websites lose the big jobs

A roof is one of the biggest bills a homeowner pays, and they can't climb up to check your work. The website has to do that for them.

  • The problem

    Homeowners can't see your work.

    The fix

A before-and-after gallery tagged by job type and area, with what was done, how long it took and the final price against the quote. Real photos of real roofs, not stock images.

  • The problem

Storm week brings more calls than you can answer.

    The fix

A storm banner we switch on when you ask, with safe first steps (catch the drip, switch off nearby circuits, take photos) and your emergency number. People get help before you ring back.

  • The problem

Nobody trusts a price they can't see coming.

    The fix

Starting prices for common repairs (or a quick range estimator, as a quoted extra), then your process in plain steps: inspection, photos of the problem, a fixed written price.

  • The problem

    Insurance work confuses people.

    The fix

A plain-English page on storm damage and insurance claims: which photos to take, what insurers usually ask for, and how you can help with the report.

  • The problem

Your guarantee is a single line in the footer.

    The fix

Show what the guarantee covers, for how long and whether it passes to the next owner, beside your insurance and scheme membership.

Anatomy of a roofing page that gets calls

Our concept for Thornrigg Roofing & Guttering, a fictional family roofer. Every part of the phone screen has one job.

Top to bottom, in the order a customer sees it on a phone.

  1. Leak banner

“Roof leaking right now?” sits above the header with the number. It's there because it's the most urgent reason people search.

  2. The job and the town

“Leeds roof repairs, done properly the first time.” The service and the place, in the words people type into Google.

  3. Three worries, answered

No call-out fee, photos of every problem, price fixed in writing. Three short promises under the buttons, before anyone has to ring and ask.

  4. Proof in numbers

Years trading, guarantee length, insurance cover and emergency response. On a real site, every number is one the roofer can prove.

  5. Prices and a range estimator

Typical prices for common repairs, and a ten-second estimator by job and house type. The inspection turns the range into one fixed price.

  6. Before-and-after slider

The same roof, three days apart, with what was done, how long it took and the final price next to the quote.

  7. “Do this now” storm steps

Catch it, make it safe, take photos, call. Useful advice first, and the phone number follows naturally.

What's built in

Built to win quotes for big jobs

  • Before-and-after gallery

Projects tagged by job type and area, with a drag-to-compare slider. Adding new photos is a small edit on your care plan.

  • Storm and leak banner

A ready-made banner we switch on when the weather turns, with safe first steps and your emergency number.

  • Guarantees in plain words

What your workmanship guarantee covers and for how long, with your insurance and memberships alongside.

  • Insurance claim help

A page that walks homeowners through storm-damage claims: photos, reports and what you can provide.

  • Inspection requests

A short form to book an inspection: address, the problem and a photo, if they can take one safely from the ground.

  • Set up as a roofer for Google

We add a short piece of code that tells Google you're a roofing business, with areas and hours that match your Business Profile.

Credentials

What homeowners check before they let you up the ladder

Most people have heard a roofing horror story. Memberships, insurance and written guarantees are how you show you're not one. You send us the details and certificates; we show them clearly and link to the public register where one exists.

You supply and prove every credential. We never add a badge or number you don't hold.

  • NFRC membership (National Federation of Roofing Contractors)
  • CompetentRoofer registration for self-certified re-roofing
  • TrustMark registration
  • Insurance-backed workmanship guarantees
  • Manufacturer-approved installer for flat-roof systems
  • Public liability insurance certificate
  • Waste carrier registration
  • State roofing contractor licence (US)

Where your work comes from

Your own website vs the other ways roofers get work

Roofing work comes from lots of places. Only one of them is yours.

ChannelGood forWatch out for
Your own websiteYour gallery, guarantees and prices in one place, and quote requests come to you alone. It needs good photos from you. Taking before-and-after shots on every job pays off here.
Pay-per-lead sitesUseful for filling the diary in a quiet spell.Enquiries are often shared with other roofers, and you usually pay whether you win the job or not.
Trade directories and review sitesVetting and reviews that homeowners already trust. An ongoing membership cost, and your profile sits in a list of local competitors.
Insurer and repair networksA steady flow of storm and claim work. The network usually sets the rates and timescales, and owns the customer relationship.
Social mediaGreat for showing finished roofs and drone shots to people who already follow you.Posts fade within days, and people searching on Google won't see them.

What a roofing website costs

The Thornrigg concept shows how much fits on a one-page Launch site. Most roofers also want a full gallery, separate repair and re-roof pages, and an inspection form. That's our Local Pro build at £1,290, with Growth care at £79 a month, so new project photos go up every month. The first year comes to £2,238, and the site goes live within 10 working days.

Questions

Questions from roofers

See all questions

Can you use my own before-and-after photos?
Yes, and we'd rather. Real photos of your work beat stock images every time. We resize them so they load fast on phones, and we'll tell you which shots work best: same angle, same light, before and after.
Can you add a storm banner when the weather turns?
Yes. We prepare it in advance, so when you message us it's a quick switch that counts as a small edit on your care plan.
Do I need separate pages for repairs, flat roofs and new roofs?
If you do all three, yes. People search for each one differently, and each page can show the right photos, guarantees and prices. That's why we'd suggest Local Pro over a one-page site.
Can the site explain insurance claims?
Yes. We write a plain-English page on what to do after storm damage and how you can help with the insurer's report. It explains the process. It never promises that a claim will be paid.
Should I show prices for roofing work?
Starting prices for common repairs help people call with confidence. Bigger jobs still need an inspection, and the site says so clearly, so nobody expects a full re-roof price from a web page.
I work across a lot of towns. Can the site cover them all?
Yes. We list your areas clearly and tag gallery projects by area. Our Local Plus build adds up to 4 area pages with genuinely local content. We never make copy-paste town pages.
Can you use drone photos?
Yes, as long as you have the right to use them. A drone shot of a finished roof makes a strong first photo for a project.
